Sandra R. Brown is a Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) member. Dr. Brown obtained her BSN and MNSc degrees from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University. She is a Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of professional nursing experience and has conducted workshops across the mid-south and western United States.
Dr. Banken is a clinical psychologist in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has over 25 years of experience as a teacher, researcher, and clinician working with clients in a variety of healthcare settings including mental health clinics, hospitals, private practice, and university medical schools. Dr. Banken has worked for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was a tenured professor in obstetrics and gynecology. He has also served in the United States Air Force as a clinical psychologist. Dr. Banken is on the medical team eDocAmerica® where he has been a consulting psychologist for over ten years. He has published in peer-reviewed academic journals and has presented research internationally. He is a member of the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). He has conducted motivational interviewing workshops to physicians, psychologists, pharmacists, nurses, dieticians, counselors, social workers, respiratory therapists, and other professionals. Dr. Banken earned a MA degree from Southern Illinois University and a PhD from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a psychologist licensed in Arkansas, Texas (with HSP), and Florida, and is registrant with the national register of Health Service Providers of Psychology.
